CD vs WEL Dream11 Prediction and Preview : Ford Trophy

We are now into the business end of the Ford Trophy with only two round of matches to go. Wellington has established itself at the top with six wins from eight matches. Central Districts, on the other hand, have descended to the bottom two and enjoyed only two victories in the eight matches they have played so far.

Wellington is on a winning streak of two matches, their first win was against Central Stags while they defeated Canterbury in the last match. Batting first, Andrew Fletcher and Malcolm Nofal posted fifty-plus scores to take the first innings total to 256/7. Bennett and Sears were the lead wicket-taker with three wickets and Newton and Neesham supported them. Wellington earned a 23-run victory.

Central Districts meanwhile have lost two consecutive games. Josh Clarkson (111) and Tom Bruce (50) were the lead scorers but they could only notch up 226 runs while batting first. McCone and Foxcroft picked up three wickets each but Auckland chased down the total with five overs remaining.
Wellington will be the favorites going into this game.
